Host an Auction for the SL Christmas Expo and Help Fight Childhood Cancer!
Calling all breedable auction houses of Second Life!
The SL Christmas Expo is raising funds for the American Cancer Society’s fight against childhood cancer, and we’d love for you to be part of it. By holding an auction at your location, you’re helping a child facing cancer, and there is no better feeling than knowing your community came together to make a real difference in a young life.
How Do I Do It?
Simply hold one of your regular scheduled auctions, at your own location, in support of the SL Christmas Expo between November 27 and December 6.
You could also arrange a special high traited auction or maybe a special patron auction.
Book your own auction time on our calendar. This lets us know when it’s happening so we can advertise it and create ad posters for you.
Your auction will be listed on the auction page of our website.
Use the Christmas Expo kiosks we provide for your auction.
You’re welcome to hold more than one auction!
A Thank You For Your Support
As a thank-you for supporting the cause, every auction house that holds an auction for the Expo will also receive a free market cart at the Expo to advertise your auction house and market to our visitors.
What Is The Cost To You?
Nothing, just the feel-good feeling of knowing you helped a childhood cancer patient or their parents get through treatment a little easier.
What Auctioneer Do I Use?
You will be responsible to organize the auction and provide the auctioneer.
How Do The Winners Pay?
All Auctions sales proceeds will go directly to the American Cancer Society. Instead of paying each owner the winning bid, the winners will simply pay the American Cancer Society SL Christmas Expo Kiosk located next to the auctioneer. Once paid, the breedables owner can transfer the breedable to the winner.
